When things were still beautiful

At Kids Amaze last week(:

Went to Sib's place to make the play dough for Shai's tutorial tomorrow.
Yes, we MADE it.
Cooked it actually.
Flour, cream of tartar, oil, salt, colouring. Cook, stir.
Went to hold the pot with my bare hands forgetting that we just switched off the gas.
Now I have 2 huge blister on my fingers. bong ttm.
made 4 different colours and they turned out sooooo pretty(:

I'm really dreading school now. With all the assignments. I feel so P about it.

Mood playground

I love swings. But, I loathe moodswings. ):
Especially mood swings like this.
I was having an awesome day till meow called me to tell me that she was going to Mount K with her school.
Not that I am not happy for you, meow. I really am.
But the thought of Batam without you, without Laas and maybe without Imes as well, it's such a turn off.

On a happier note, Kids Amaze at Jurong Safra is simply AMAZING.
Really A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.
We enjoyed ourselves SOOOOOOO MUCH there.
Just imagine. More than 100 teenagers aged 17 to 18 in the play area meant for KIDS, running around, playing the slides, rolling in the ballpit, SCREAMING, laughing, jumping.
Need I say more?
They have the 'don't know what' longest indoor slide there. Spiral one some more. When we play we SCREAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM our way down. LOLs.

Saw some really cute kids there. I think they got scared of our loudness and craziness. When we talked to this small girl -Leanne- she STUNNED and ignored us, looked away. Were we really that scary? LOLs

Shopped at Lot 1 to get the ingredients for steamboat. Bestfriend and Jill came shortly after.

Life is so unfair. We both leave the hub at 5.30.

Apparently, holidays have been so boring that I have no idea what to blog about ):
I hate holidays like this. Nothing to do, no income, not even anyone to date everyday to spend money.
Nevertheless, I've been spending a lot of money. On don't know what. Crappy man.
Urgh. I don't even remember what I've done this week.

So in the end, I suggested Year One cause MANY MANY people said that it was MEGA funny.
And, assuming that Jack Black is acting, it SHOULD be quite funny.
I TELL YOU, THE MOVIE WAS NOTHING BUT A DISAPPOINTMENT THAT SPOILED MY ENTIRE AFTERNOON!
It was NOT funny AT ALL.
It is supposedly NC16 cause there's like dirty humour inside.
It was not dirty,
it was not funny,
it had no storyline,
it was nothing close to a comedy.

it was just PLAIN STUPID. Wasted 2 hours of my life, and 6 dollars from my pocket.
Totally just pissing lah.

Then Deqi Nath and I got super excited about what we were discussing lah. HAHAHAHAHAH.

It's indeed a whole new experience working with the 3 of them for something like this. I never knew so much planning needs to be done lah.
Especially for a large scale event.

An Adventure(:

Met Tan at PS at 3 today :DD
Without a purpose, without an aim. LOLs.
Just met for the sake of meeting.
Love dates like this. Cause. It really shows the friendship you hold with that person. I'm not saying that those who cannot meet without a purpose holds insignificant friendship.But don't you think its really awesome if you are able to meet a friend just for the sake of meeting up, without feeling bored or anything?
Then, we ended up walking to Cathay hoping to catch a movie. Ended up, there was no shows with good timings.
So we walked back to PS to see see timings.
And she convinced me to catch UP with her cause she haven't watch it. I've watched it alr -,-
I was nice, and since the movie was nice, I agreed(:
Awesome. Freezing cold though. After movie, we walked many round and round and round PS while waiting for dinner time, and for her sis&brother-in-law.
Walked back to Cathay again at bout 7. for dinner. Astons(:

Having watched UP for the second time today, I was thinking many different thoughts in the movie. How much we can learn from the plot, and how much we can fit it into our lives.

For those who haven't watch UP, its a story about this old man and woman(Carl Fredrickson and Ellie) whose dream since young was to build their house next to the Paradise Falls in South America. They tried really hard to save enough money to fulfil their dream, but never made it there due to various reasons. In the end, Ellie died and Mr Fredrickson decided to go and fulfil their dream with 'her'. He ended up in an adventure, saving a bird(KEVIN!!!!) from a predator who was the old man's life long idol since young.
Apart from that, Ellie had created an adventure book when she was young, to record what she would do when she gets to Paradise Falls. Since that did not happen, whenever Mr Fredrickson looked at the book, he didn't turn past that page cause he thought that it was blank, having not fulfilled their dream. However, at the end, Mr Fredrickson found out that these pages were replaced with pictures of their blissful marriage. It was then that he realised that Ellie had already fulfilled her dream by being married to him. Living a life without regrets despite not literally living up at the Falls.

When I think about it now, I find it really similar to how our lives are. We plan what we think is the best for our lives, and spend much time trying to fulfil our dreams. Then when things do not go according to our plans, we complain, and try, to the best of our ability to solve it on our own, refusing to seek the help of God.
It is then God interferes. When we finally let go, and let God. We'll find ourselves having much more than expected, and receiving what's even better that we first planned for ourselves. God knows what we need best, and would give it to us in His own special way, in His own special timings.

We just have to let go, and let God. With trust, faith and obedience.

I'm not insisting that all of you agree with what I think. But these are the thoughts I have after watching the movie twice(:

Prayer Meeting was fruitful(: Praise God for all the Thanksgiving. And, while watch the video of the Mission Trip to the K, I really thank God for how blessed we are.

Day Two

Second day of Eight weeks. And I'm still at home.
With mum jumping at every opportunity to ask me to do some house work.
I've packed my table, my tv table, under my bed... Now she's asking me to mop the floor and iron the clothes.
Wth. I didn't get 8 weeks of holiday to at home doing house work lor!
I don't care. I'm going out tomorrow. Even if it kills me to get out of the house. Cause if I continue being at home, I'm going to die of boredom.

Okay. Exams are so OVER baby. :D
And now, it's the time to dedicate some effort to my poor little blog.
Lets talk a bit about the papers first.
CDev was relatively alright. Compared to PPCM.
I am quite confident that I can pass CDev, if Dieut doesn't hate me that much.
But for PPCM, I don't know what to expect.
Firstly, we didn't know what to study for PPCM. At all. Because, nothing about the paper was said during tutorials. And, all her powerpoint slides are made of QUESTIONS. As in literally questions. So they were of no help either.
The textbook? I don't have. Erns don't have. Sibs don't have. Shimin don't have. -,-
So we ended up with borrowing from Widad to photocopy stuff to study.
And, that was just plain reading. And reading. And reading.
Ohwells, the paper is now over.
And everybody, I HAVE EIGHT WEEKS TO ENJOYYYYYYY.
Okay, perhaps not EIGHT weeks. Considering the fact that our results would be mail to us -.-
Results mailed to us = Dad reading it
If dad sees a F = DOOM!
Till then, I should be safe to enjoy. HAHAHAHA.

Met Shui to SHOP after the paper today. I wanted to distress.
Went to Vivo and SHOPPED awayyyy.
She bought stuff like there was no tomorrow, and we ended up spending about 220 dollars plus plus within 3 hours. ZAIBO.
HAHA. Dian Xiao Er-ed for dinner (: Cause sushi tei was closed -.-
Bus-ed home after that cause taxi queue too long.
The bus uncle was driving MEGA FAST. At probably 20KM/HR -.-x10

For those of you who think that the movie Where Got Ghost is JUST a comedy, NOT scary AT ALL,
I TELL YOU, YOU ARE SO WRONG.
Especially when you have the same amount of tolerance for horror like I do.
Cause I almost died in the Cinema on Saturday while watching with BFF, Laopo, Toh and Gab.

And we watched the 9pm show at Tiong. By the time it ended, it was like what? 11 plus? And, I was so scared that I just kept quiet.

Okay. Come to think of it, the movie was too scary. I was just timid alright.
So stop scolding me/cussing me if you are now -.-
Shimin found it funny. Laopo found it, not scary at all and funny.
D: I wanted to die badly in the cinema.
I think my reaction when the movie ended probably freaked Gab and Alyss out more than the show did. And I couldn't sleep when I reached home at night. -.-

Bathed, and Chiong-ed down to school to meet Erns and Sibs for final mugging.
Now that the paper is over, I can recite B.F Skinner and Vygotsky's theory by heart, and a lot of other stuff. Which I couldn't when I was doing the paper -.-

Okay, I'm proud to say that I've finished studying Child Development lecture notes through once.

And I'm so bored at home.

Went to Sng's place after service yesterday to study.

I woke up late (8.40), so I CHIONG, get ready and stuff, and was out of the house by 8.50 (PRO OR WHAT SIA).
So I decided, if I cab, the I would be able to make it to class before 9.15, and won't be marked as absent.
So I boarded the cab and said, 'Uncle, Ngee Ann Poly please. Go by Bukit Timah Road'.
Then the uncle say, 'Go by express way faster'
yp, 'Don't want. This time, express way sure jam one'
Uncle, 'No, won't jam. I am the cab driver, you must believe me'.
And he TURNS INTO THE STUPID EXPRESS WAY.
Low and Behold, the moment we entered the express way,
THERE WAS A FREAKING JAM. -.-
So, I got angry (you tell me who won't) and said, 'Uncle! You see lah. I tell you will jam already right!'

The end of a fairytale, the beginning of reality

No man is worth your tears. The one who is worth it won't make you cry.

I've always thought that crying in a bus is rather silly. Okay. Very silly. And very embarrassing.
Today, I finally understand the feeling of crying in a bus. It means that that someone has no where else to release the emotions inside them. I mean, if there is somewhere else you can do it RIGHT away, then why do it on the bus right?

Singlehood: It means no more responsibilities. Freedom to do whatever you like without having the need to account to anyone. It doesn't mean that the world stops loving you. It just means that you no longer have someone you call yours anymore.

You once said, 'You will never see what lies ahead of you if you keep looking back. But. Now, what lies ahead is just an empty road that is to be walked alone.

Life is full of regrets. Or at least, mine is. Can I say I regret taking so long to make a stand? I regret keeping you waiting. I regret not pulling myself out when I still had the time to. I regret asking you what you want for your birthday. But, regrets are just like empty promises --there's no point saying them. But at least, I don't regret knowing you.

Thank you for being honest.. For still playing the nice guy to the end of the fairytale. Now that the confession has been done, what is left is to get go, and stand up again.

The irony is that, I can't put an end to something that had no beginning.

They are so efficient.
The speed of the lecturers giving assignments in NP is even faster than the speed of light!
I just haven't been to school for TWO days, and I am piled with assignments already.

I think, before my fever kills me, the assignments killed me already.

Went to bed with a splitting headache.
Woke up with a splitting headache AND a high fever. Standing at 38 point something degrees.

But the doctor said that chances of me kenna-ing is not very high.
Just that I am supposed to stay at home from now on cause my stupid body is weak now and I don't want to complicate stuff. CRAP

I mean. Unless someone has been into my room, and taking my stuff out of my room, what are the chances of my stuff going missing overnight?
I remember reading my book late into the night, and placing it on top of my laptop before switching off my table lamp. And I slept throughout the night.
When I woke up thing morning, my book just isn't there anymore. And my elder sister is still asleep. So I don't THINK that she came into my room and took it back.
Unless I remembered wrongly, or unless I sleep walk, my book shouldn't be missing.

Woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.
Decided to not go for attachment makeup cause PPCM/Wricomm assignment is due tomorrow and I have not completed it.
Who ask me, take so long to do -.-
I only realised this morning that Larver has sent me the body paragraphs for the assignment TWO weeks ago, but I did the conclusion, intro and editing so slowly that until this morning it still wasn't done.
So I worked on it from 8 plus ALL the way till 12 plus 1.
But I got it done(:
Hopefully it's not sub standard man.
Oh wells.

Went down to school for S&W. Waited for Sibs outside Cheers with Larver and Shimin. Then in the end, we were so late that we decided. We should just go for makeup class. So we went to the library football room to chat.
Disturb the peace. LOL.

Worried about Johnathan not being able to receive my email, so decided to rush home to send again, and send to everyone else in the group as well.

Cab-ed down to The Glass House cause I thought I was mega late.
Thought I was supposed to meet the team at 6. And it was 645 when I left my place.
Then when I called JX, I found out that we were supposed to meet at 7 not 6 -.-
And, SHOCKING NEWS.
JX turned up with her Boyfriend.
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG. JX, boyfriend. OMG OMG OMG OMG.
Mabel, Wenlin, HC all were STUNNED like me. LOLs.
Nothing much about her changed though. Apart from the BOYFRIEND issue. LOLs.

Then HC kept asking her embarrassing questions. DAMN FUNNY.
It was hilarious watching HC flick JX ear and her getting angry, and JX poking and whacking HC. Classic.

Sad case. Only took two group photo with them. Cause we were too caught up in talking that we kind of forgot. Until we left the place, and I insisted on a photo.
But none of us brought a camera.
Thankfully HC's friend brought. So took 2 shots for us.
But got to wait till 2 weeks later before getting it.
Cause that bahbuu is going into army tomorrow. And will not be out till two weeks later. Ohwells.

The next time I can meet them again is the end of August):
