I SURVIVED!
Hello everyone! I am back from the camp.
With half a life left.... And my limbs are probably going to die already.
As most of you may not know, I helped out ,along with CITYHUB, over the past few days with a Primary 5 camp for Macpherson Primary School.
This camp was indeed a very challenging camp.
I think what was the challenge is that I found it very hard to communicate with the students. Especially with the vast and different backgrounds they all come from.
God has blessed this camp so so so much. Just so much, despite the rain.
Being a facilitator, station master and road marshal ain't an easy and relaxing job man.
My energy was sooooooo drained out by the end of the station games.
But that God that He guided me through the camp, and replenished my energy daily.
The wet weather programme was just SO FUN!(:'

Together with Yun Jing, Uncle Ming Aun, Uncle Hali, Ignatious
We had the biggest group of kids. 44! 17 girls and 27 boys! FAINTS!
Yet at the same time, I thank God that it is through these kids that I see what true team spirit is!
The camp started off bad. As I was a station master and road marshal, I couldn't be with the kids one Day One. Received complains from other station masters that my kids misbehaved. And heard from Yun Jing that they had to scold the kids after every station.
After a loooooooong day of scolding, my kids kind of finally WOKE UP.
And portrayed excellent team spirit in Day Two.
TUG-OF-WAR
My kids are oh-so-good at this game man!
We were the OVERALL CHAMPIONS!(:
They were just so so so good lor!
We played Fourteen rounds in total!!!!
And won!
Then uncle David say they can only be declared champions if they won the facilitators!
How can like that lor!!!!!!!
So all the male facilitators against 18 of my boys!!
AND WE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!
bWAHhahaHAhaHahA!!!!
Then all the female facilitators against 16 of my girls.
WE WON TOO!!!!!!!
O. M. G.! I was so so so proud of them.

I played only 2 rounds and I am aching all over already.
The kids played so many rounds and they didn't even complain lor. Some even play until got blister!!
Camp fire-d in the evening.
So funny.
It was all about music.
Then all the facilitators gang up and bully uncle Ming Aun.
So poor thing lor. They blind fold him, then make him dance in the middle of the dance floor alone!!! Still bluff him say what he is getting too close to the fire, so must stand in front a bit! SO EVIL! What's worse is that he didn't know he was dancing alone!!! FAINTS!
I admire his courage man! BwahaHHAHAhH~
And RED HOUSE WAS THE CAMPS OVERALL CHAMPIONS! With like 23thousand points?! LOL
After we sent the kids to bed, the facilitators stayed at the canteen to slack.
Uncle Phillip treat drinks and CHICKEN WINGS! YUM!
Then while the rest went to shower and sleep, a group of us stayed behind to sing songs, talk then decided that we should exercise a bit.
Had a round of touch rugby and Futsal. So funny.
Then I crashed.
While the others continued to play cards(?)
Yeah!
The last day was slightly more relaxed.
Clean up the place.
Red house, being the champions, got the easiest job (as the kids think).
We cleaned the hall.
While the other houses cleaned the toilets, canteen and dorms!
Well. I think they were lucky too.... Yet they made a mess at cleaning!
So baa baa.
Totally pissed Yun Jing and I off!
Then had thanks giving and sent the kids off.
I can honestly say, even though the kids were a terror, no, they were more than terror, I'm going to miss them. Like A LOT!
Then the helpers had debrief. And we break camp(: Finally
Yet, even though we were dying, we decided to go for lunch(:
Opposite West Coast Plaza at the hawker center.
Lunch-ed with Auntie Flo Ho, Deqi, Jing and Siang Ee.
And after dropping Siang Ee and Deqi off, we headed back to church.
Rested abit before leaving.
And there you have it. Three days worth of nightmare!
P/S. Jing said, compared to the kids, Johnson, Angelia and Jacob are SO QUIET! THEY ARE SO QUIET AND WELL BEHAVED.
LJOY helpers would understand x)
Surprise birthday celebration 28/02/2009
Like the title says, IT WAS A SURPRISE. BIG surprise!
Totally didn't expect so many people to turn up!
And many stuck to the dress code I wanted.
