A not so happy Valentine's day

While everyone,okay, almost everyone is talking about how much they enjoyed V'day, I'm here talking about how much I detested this year's V'day!
It was DISGUSTING! Yes, there's no other words that can better describe my feelings towards V'day this year.
Even if there was, it's nothing good.
The only good and happy thing I experienced this year apart from the awesome presents and company of wonderful friends, is the news of the proposal.
Yes, Vernon proposed to Qiuying, and she accepted.
ONE joyful thing.
That's all.

The day had to begin with a MASSIVE jam along Bukit Timah road.
And, boy oh boy, I was PISSED!
It caused me to be half an hour late!
It caused Cat to sit at the roadside with a growling stomach while I was moving an inch per hour on the road.
RARR!!
Then, it was the florist.
Wanted to buy sunflowers for CAT and SNG.
Cat found this weird ulu shop to buy the flowers at.
And since I was lazy to walk to the shop next to Cold Storage,
I went along with it.
We bought 2 stalk of sunflower and a stalk of daisy.
Told her to wrap it separately. And she did.
Then, as we were walking away, Cat noticed that the lady didn't put the cotton wool at the end of the stalk. the water thing lah
So I told Cat to go back and ask for it.
And guess what that lady said.
She said cause we bought it by stalks, she can't put that thingy thing for us.
HELLO!!!!! So does she mean that because we bought it in stalks, the flower wouldn't die without water?!?!?!?!?!
Yes, that got Cat and I very mad.
Okay, maybe cat was just mad, but I was very mad!

Apart from that, I was PS-ed.
So many plans, ALL canceled.
Birthday parties, Chilling session, and whatever else.

Well, maybe I was just PMS-ing that day.
Cause I believe most people wouldn't get mad over these things,\.
But whatever it is, I was FURIOUS!

So, I'm sorry to say that I probably affected my friend's V'day.
Imes was probably the most badly affected one.
Cause I sulked half the day away.
But I have to honestly say, I was trying my best to not show an attitude.
And to a certain extend, convince myself to enjoy the day.
