hey everyone!
i'm back from JOY children's camp!
great joy the children have brought to me.
i was in FENCER!!!!!
i love my kids in there.
together with auntie may, we took care of the lovely kids.
i had elijah, maximilian, natalie, tristan, dalvin, samantha, sien, jia xuan, an gie and jian rong.
they are LOVE.
i had NO NAUGHTY KID at all. tristan is hyper. but he'll listen to instructions.
the rest are total good kids lah.
they make life during the camp alot happier. x)
day one:
registration and face painting.
one little girl drew an elmo for me! x)
cool!
after that was some rules from enoch then games.
blow wind blow
and nath says (simon says lah)
also had T-shirt painting.
so cute to see the kids paint their shirts.
had group time together.
made the kids get to know each other more.
cant really remember what happened after that.
had debrief after the kids when home.
and some rest time while waiting for alyss to finish her debrief part 2 (log stuff)
dinner-ed at penang.
played muderer. fun time!
went to cold storage and bought sweets and then, went to swril.
played bridge.
nath ruth and jon came and join us! x)
learn how to play goldfish!
then went back to church.
ironed the shirts.
bathe... rotted awhile before going to sleep.
day two:
woke up at 745.
washed up and went to farrer for breakfast.
back to church to slack til 10 before briefing started.
kids came at 1030.
started off with rules again.
spilt the 14 groups into group A and B.
group A (where fencer was in ((: ) went for cup cake cones first.
super fun.
had lunch after that.
then,
went for brain gym session.
rather not talk about it.
after that was a sharing with PS. John Sim.
super interesting.
my kids loved that session.
kids went home after that.
had debfief and talked aboutthe next day stuff.
called mac in.
crapped in patmos with the rest of the helpers who are staying over. (except enoch and ms yap)
moved stuff to the van and went up to shalom
went crazy there.
played bingo.
played taidi (2 decks of cards, 8 ppl so 4 each) winner stays, loser moves to the other group.
played like... countless rounds of taidi..
then played murderer in a big group.
played goldfish.
and HEART ATTACK!
laughed like xiao!!!
super funny.
went to bathe.
while the rest played taboo.
before sleeping,
aimin and esther acted a play on the ceiling. (inside joke)
auntie flo joined us.
talked. then went to sleep.
couldnt sleep the whole night cause arms were aching.
once i moved, it hurt. )):
thanks auntie flo for the prayer.
day three:
didnt even have to wake up cause i didnt sleep!
left church at 8 to go pick the hougang kids.
waitd super long for cab.. cause of the rain.
praise God!
fetched the kids then went back to church.
brief the kids about ecp stuff then set off to ecp.
decided to got he the viod deck cause of the rain.
had inline skating and treasure hunt there.
ate mac for lunch. (mac again...)
prize presentation, photo taking, the send the kids off.
bowler won 1st.
thot it would be golfer.
sad case.
wyne (sp?) and don initiated a hug.
wyne kissed the the face..
but don headed STRAIGHT FOR THE LIPS.
HAHAHAAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA.
they are super cute lah.
my entire phone is now filled with their picture!
ahahahaha.
jealous?
LOL.
packed up in church and went home.
although i was tired after the camp,
but i really praise God for this camp.
learnt so much things in this camp and so did the children.
praise God indeed.
thank my FATHER for everything He has provided.
