we shared about why we should put God first in our lives,
and how should we do go about doing it.
why is God first?
-He's first and last
"this is what the Lord says-
Israel's king and redeemer, the Lrod almighty:
I am the first and I am the last"(Isa44:6)
-Jesus said can't serve God and money
"no one can serve two masters.
either he will hate the one and love the other,
or he will be devoted to the one
and despise the other.
you cannot serve both God and money"(matt 6:24)
-Command by God
"but seek first his kingdom and his righteousness,
and all these things will be given to you as well"(matt 6:33)
*Blessing from God more than current possesions
-God is our provider
-God loves us unconditionally
-God is giver,creator..ect..
"the Lord did not set his affection on you
and choose you because you were more numerous than other people,
for you were the fewest of all people.
but it was because the Lord loved you
and kept the oath he swore to your forefathers
that he brought you out with a mighty hand
and redeemed you from the land of slavery,
from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt."(deut7:7-8)

How to put God first?
-Living righteous and Holy life
-follow the 10 commandments
-be a follower of God
^making diciples
"therefore go and make diciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father
and of the Son
and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
and surely I am with you always,
to the very end of the age"(matt28:19-20)
-Trust in Him
"trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight"(prov3:5-6)
-spend quiet time everyday with God.
-Give thanks!
we should give thanks for everything we have.
whether it is good or bad, thank God for it.
-Seek,Follow and Serve Christ
as a GB girl, i will never forget this.
like wad Ps Fuman said,

but the correct manner is to Seek, Follow and Serve Christ.

cried my heart out after A maths test.
or should i say before the test ended,
i started crying already.
i seriously didnt know how to do the questions.
although it was only a 4 question paper,
but still,
it's a test...
studied like crazy last night.
but still couldnt do the paper.
was A maths the right choice for me?

i still want to praise God for everything.
i have been so stressed throughout the week.
so many things is happening.
both good and bad.
i have been complaining more than ever.
i wanted to whine and complain less in 2007,
but i realised that i whined like i never whined before,

O level results are out today.
at 2,
i saw so many sec fours coming back to skool already.
was kinda sick so didnt go for GB today.
went home after talking to Ms Wong and Ms Wee.
got a shock.
saw a fire engine, an ambulance and a police car at my block carpark.
thought what happen...
took the lift with 2 other police.
they went to the 10th floor,
so i have completely no idea what happen...
my mum being Mrs Leow would definitely find out what happened.
so i just wait for her to tell me what happened...
called pris and ZX just now to ask how they did for O's.
wow!!!!
both of them did well!!
pris did very well!!!
praise God!
both improved alot!

it has been a fulfilling week..
learnt so many things.
heard so many new verses from the bible.
learnt that the tongue is the most deadly weapon in the world.
learnt about who i am and what i am around for.
there are just so many more important things out there in the world for us to notice.
so i have learnt to stop wasting time on un-important stuff like little little quarrels.
really enjoy talking to pris when i have trouble..
or when smth is bothering me..
or when i got smth that i dont understand.
cause when i ask her smth,
she'll ask me another question..
and make me think and think and think.
last saturday,
during cell..
weijuan made me really lost by asking me a question.
"wad if one day, you were to hear some people gossiping about amanda..
what would you do? will you stop them and speak up for amanda or will you join the gossip?"
well...
i know for sure that i would speak up for manda.
but..
then,
i asked myself another question...
what if the person they were talking about is not manda?
would i join the gossip?
